   Information
Boot up using the Startup Repair CD or Windows 7 DVD. (not the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disk) If you have a Netbook, you will need a CD/DVD drive.
NOTE: Make sure no USB drives are plugged in.
Do not use a USB Pendrive for Startup Repair.

1) Use the Rebuild BCD in this tutorial:

2) FixMBR.

   Information
We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD.

No luck = ( Its seems to be stuck in this startup repair circle.....its a Dell, so I did a system restore back to original factory date and when it restarts it goes right into the startup repair that says it cannot fix the problem and takes me right back to system repair options. I requested the original Windows 7 discs and the drivers & utilities disc.....they emailed me and I should get them in a couple days. Will I be able to do a clean install of Windows 7 and escape this vicious startup repair circle its stuck in?

This is what was sent in the email......

Following CD's are included in the dispatch:

1) Windows Reinstallation CD. (For reinstalling Windows 7 Home Premium)
2) Drivers and utility CD. (For reinstalling the drivers)

Yes. That will do it.

You would need to back up anything you need from your hard drive beforehand.

If you do it right - and if you have enough space - it is possible to get the 7 installer to save the contents of your drive into a folder called windows.old. You can fish stuff out of there afterwards.
