windows won't see more than 2 hard drives but my bios can see them

Just built a computer and and I am running windows 7 ultimate 64x and I have 4 hard drives plugged in and it sees them all in the bios but in windows it will only let me see 2 and sometimes it switches which hard drive it sees as the second hard drive. Am I missing something or does anyone know how to fix this. I need more storage space.

When you look at the disks in Disk Management, are the missing ones marked as Offline?

What size are the hard drives? Over 2TB?
How old is your pc? Can you see them in device manager?

I just built the pc and new components ... I have a 1tb sshd for os and a 4tb sshd , 2tb, 1tb for storage

Which ones aren't showing up? If they're not showing in disk manager at all then it could be your bios isn't set correctly.
Have you tried opening a command prompt > diskpart > list disk
Do they show up at all in diskpart?

Also, you can try the free boot disk for minitool partition wizard Best Free Partition Manager for Windows | MiniTool Partition Free
You might be able to boot into that and initialise the drives.

Check device manager for any devices with a yellow ! or red X. Are the two MIA drives on a different make SATA controller or RAID controller? Might just be a driver issue.
