Windows x64 Problem

Hi my problem is: i Cannot saave file from microsoft office to D partition it says you dont have permissons. I can only save to my documents folder.

Is there a way to unlock administrator account on Windows 7 x64. Becouse on my windows 7 32bit i dont have problrms with files folders or enything

use the properties > security tab of a folder or drive to give yourself permissions.

Is this a dual boot or the 32 bit is on another computer? You could try this on the D: partition or on the folder your trying to save to. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1911-take-ownership-shortcut.html

It`s a single boot computer. I changed the permissions in security tab but it wont work

Look All i want to know is how is that possible its instaled a clean copy liscenced windows 7 x64 original licence. and firs time instaled drivesr and office. and it cant save to partition D it says Acced denied u dont have permissions. how is that possible. Is it becouse windows 7 isnt made good or what. I mean I could understand if it was C:\windows folder but D:\ partition clean nothing in it.. i cannot understand that i mean in 32 bit version everything is fine.

How did you first set up the partition? Via disk management? Can you delete it and extend 7 back?

What ever program created the D: partition set the ownership and permissions. That is why you must change them now to have access with a different program.
