I keep reading about Windows XP mode which i believe is an add on to Windows 7. What is XP mode? And how do i get it? Or is this built into Windows 7 RC?

Luke.

The XP mode you have been reading about is an addon. Its a Virtualization inside of windows 7 that runs a full version of XP Pro. Its mainly use to keep legacy apps being able to run on new versions of Windows you can read a lot about it the Virtualization and Tutorials sections of this forum.
I hope this helps.

yes you can install other versions of XP but you will still need a product key to activate after 30 days...maybe they plan to make xp mode available for free to entice all the people (businesses) that bypassed Vista.
