XP is definitely approaching it's death throes.
On TechNet if you just search Operating systems or even Windows you won't find any XP versions for download -- however by actually searching for "Windows XP" explicitly you can get access to XP pro sp3 if you still need it - I'm running some XP VM's and needed to get the XP sp3 recently.
Ms tend to "hide" the product from the main menus and searches just prior to removing it.
Oddly enough Windows 3.11 is "Easier" to find !!!!.
I'd suggest if you are a TechNet subscriber and STILL have a use for XP grab it while it's still available.
