Not very in depth but it's a start. Also, who uses WMV for streaming video? I am amazed that Microsoft didn't use Flash for that.

and you think they would not use their own stuff? i find it harder to beleive they would use other software then their own to so anything for the public

Their own stuff is not a standard across the internet. Anytime I visit one of their pages and get prompted to install Silverlight I deny it. I don't want it if it's strictly used on Microsoft.com pages.

well usually thats how they do it, they use their own stuff. hardly do they use flash
