windows XP will not load

I'm trying to generate a dual os, I'm running windows 7 and am trying to install XP, But blue screen pops up saying operation has been haulted to prevent computer damage, check for viruses, newly installed hard drives ect. cant get past that can anyone help

Where exactly does the blue screen appear, during XP installation or...?

Are you booting the XP CD or running it from Windows 7? Try both.
