I need some help on what happens during a "first boot" of Windows 7 , what files are used and when the bcd comes into play.
can someone direct me to a website that shows this?
how does windows know if a file has changed?
how does window know if a file is corrupt or not the original?
thank you for your help!
John

Well; to be honest; I dont think you really need to worry about those things too much as windows pretty much handles all of that on its own; however; if you really want to know try taking a look at this video from youtube; as it may help answer any questions. if it doesnt Im not really sure where else to point ya to because as i said most of what you are asking is done behind the scenes so to speak and is handled by windows by itself automatically.
