Just a warning for anyone trying to install the SP1.
BACK UP YOUR DRIVE NOW!!
Don't even TRY to install it without doing a complete image of your Windows 7 partition.
The SP will install EVERY service you may have uninstalled, including network filters, terminal services, DCOM services, autoruns, legacy drivers and GP rules.
This SP1 is very sloppy, I would SERIOUSLY WAIT and see if you really need this SP because I believe a fresh install of W7SP1 will be necessary.
This thing cripples your security settings and tweaks, look out.
If the SP1 FAILS to install, it will REVERT install EVERY service you may have uninstalled, including network filters, terminal services, DCOM services, autoruns, legacy drivers and GP rules also.
Be prepared to re-image after it fails.
failure could be from ATI drivers missing, using Acronis or other image restore utility, using Nlite, having VSS service disabled, having max network filters set to 8, ect, ect.
This SP will require a clean install, anyone that thinks they installed it over their current W7 are running WIDE OPEN again, maybe without knowing the security has been reset.
