As i stated. On May 5th I updated win7. That day or the next it went to sleep for no reason and wouldn't wake up. i noticed the power light on my usb mouse was off. Then we played on it for a few days and it happened again. the computer would stay on for a seemingly random amount of time before going into sleep mode. I tried reseating the RAM, Graphics card, change monitors, change DVI chord, reset the cmos battery, reformatted twice! The 1st reformat I know i dont think all updates installed, especially SP1 and it worked for about 24 hours before doing it. So i reformatted again and installed all the updates up to what I needed for SP1 and installed SP1. I have a HP 2009m monitor. The computer worked fine except like 2 flickers of the monitor the first day. Then a couple days after I was playing and it did it again. The computer went ot sleep on me and i couldnt wake it up. My computer works in safe mode as far as i can tell.
I looked online and found this thing about delting hibernation so i did that in CMD with te powercfg -h off command. I'm not in front of it now but CMD basically told me VgaSaver was preventing hibernation being turned off.
I recently found this information whe naccessing the maintenance torublseshooter in win7.
