Windows8 tab was added

John (?) added a Windows8 tab on top of the forum page. That is nice. But in the Windows8 forum I did not find a Windows7 tab to get back. Looks like a one way trip - LOL.

Moving up a Windows version usually is a one way trip, Wolfgang (unless, in my case, it was XP to Vista where I found a way back until Win 7 came out).

These don't appear on all skins. Is there any way these sort of changes can automatically be implemented on the other skins, or do they have to be manually done on each one? I know we've had this sort of thing before, with some changes/modifications appearing in some skins but not others.

That is a pain.

I think that the best way to implement changes would be to make them to the forum default skins, and then, depending on the feedback, decide on whether to keep them and rollout to the other skins or to scrap them.

According to a recent study, Seven Blue is the most popular skin. Full 100% of users asked told they use Seven Blue skin.

Please take this in consideration when deciding which skin gets what newbies...

The thing is one skin doesn't fit all, we have quite a lot of members that like the Black and seven blue skins which I personally cant stand.

BTW in case it's gone unnoticed - I added a new skin "SF Pastel" this morning.

A small change in the results of the study published in my last post: I asked someone else, too, and it seems only 50% of users have chosen Seven Blue. Still, that's half of the members who participated this study...

One of my criteria with skins is that I prefer wide skin versions to make the most of my screen estate. As there is a wide screen version of the new skin, I'm giving it a trial run.

Seems clean and fresh. I like it.
