Good morning,

I have a Windows 7 update issue. When I click on check for updates, it will go through the scanning process of finding updates. However, the end result will be "windows couldn't find any updates" or "Windows is up to date."

It still has IE 8 and no service pack 1.

Anyone have a clue on what it could be?

Thank you!!!

Sounds like it may be a sourcing issue...

This may give us a handle on it...
we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
