Hey guys,
I thought it would be great to be able to turn my computer in to a 'Tivo' like machine. So i went and bought this, and the installation went great.

First the program that came with is very lack luster, so i hooked it up with windows media center since i really don't want to shell out another $100 for another program when I'm having issues with the 2 i have. The big issue is i have the MC on my TV and do whatever on my monitor and just watch TV on the well...TV, when its the only program open i cant get to my desktop without the three finger salute (CTRL+ALT+Delete) and opening up notepad or something else.

The remote that came with card will only change the volume, the only way i can change the channel if i alt tab over with my mouse and it shutters both screens go black for a second and i finally am able to change my channel and alt tab back and both screens go black again and I'm able to go about my business.

Ive tried downloading anything and everything that Hauppauge's website and i still have that issue, when i tried to go back and use the WinTV it doesnt pick up the tuner card. When i read all the reviews on this specific card it sounded so great and sounded like everything that i needed. Anyone also have these issues or did i do something wrong setting it up?

Any tricks or tips i should know about or something that i might of missed?

maybe you just need to change your display properties? i think you can set them up to display seperate desktops.
also, there is a new ATI driver out. you might want to update that first, before changing display settings

Ive downloaded the newest graphic drivers, i think the biggest issue is the remote. Any idea where i can find the drivers for the remote?

OK so im not sure what software is making it work now, but the issue that i am running into now is unless windows media center is focused the remote wont control it. Any recommendations for 3rd party programs that will allow me to keep the remote able to change channels Etc while focused on something on my primary screen?
