I have used this encoder numerous times, without any problem, but that has changed. When I opened the program, it would start a thumping sound from the speakers, and the entire system froze, requiring a forced restart.
I reinstalled the program, and now there is no thumping, and the program doesn't crash on opening, but when I point it to a DVD, right after it displays the encoding options, it freezes the entire system, as it did before. The only difference being the lack of thumps.
I posted a question about this on the Digiarty Forum, but the site administrator responded saying that they had no experience with this problem. That was before I reinstalled the program, so I have posted again. Considering the first response, I don't expect any better now, and since I'm unable to contact their support directly, I felt that I would post a question about it here. Any suggestions, or am I out of luck?
