WinXP/Win7 dilemma with new computer

If you need XP, then virtualize your MCE install. Dual-booting causes more issues than it solves, and virtualization renders it useless. There are several free VM apps that will run on Windows 7 Home Premium, like VirtualBox.

My wife was in the same boat as you, and we couldn't find drivers for her LIDE30 scanner. We decided that clinging to old technology and companies who don't want to offer support was a mistake, so we bought a networked all-in-one and couldn't be happier. I don't like single purpose devices in my office or my kitchen.
