Wireless acting strange

I recently upgraded to windows 7 and after i completed the installation my wireless internet has been acting funny. Sometimes it could only connect if it has an Ethernet jack connected on one side and nothing connected on the other end, and after I'm connected it disconnects itself for no reason. I updated all the drivers and i checked everywhere in the internet for help but I found no luck. It's a miracle im connected right now, but i know that its going to disconnect.
So please help me smart people!
