Can you find a system restore point before you had the problem, and then restore the system. Your laptop should have a recovery disc with it - if nothing else works use it to repair your copy of windows.

Hello again. ;)

First of all, you're running Windows XP from your description. This forum is dedicated, primarily, to Windows 7.

But, we may still be able to help! My first suggestion is to update your driver, check the maker/model of your wireless card and visit their site for an update XP driver.

The only concern I have is that it was working - and then suddenly stopped, this is odd. You tested the router and it appears to be working, so something with your wireless is causing the problem. So, first check for a new driver. If that doesn't work, it may very well be the card itself.

Can you fill out your system specs from within your profile? Thanks.
