Wireless adapter stuck in off position due to keyboard issue

I have an HP laptop running Windows 7. The keyboard F12 serves as the switch for the wifi. The button is stuck off because the keyboard ribbon is disconnected from the motherboard.

None of my external keyboards include a button for activating wireless. Is there another way to activate it without an external switch?

Torch, how would that program work ? The wifi switch is just that, a switch, or sometimes a button. not a key, it may not show up on that list.

Unless using the switch has the same affect as pushing a key ????????

It should take a combination of the Fn key plus the F12 key.

The on-screen keyboard that comes with Windows 7 should do include an Fn key.
