Well, this issue is starting to annoy me. I noticed the other day that my problem, regarding my internet, was that when my sister goes on, my computer disconnects from the internet for like a minute and then reconnects. This happens quite often in a day, and it's really annoying. Any tips?

Hello,

If she's doing video streaming, heavy gaming or downloading stuff it can be an issue. You need to have a good amount of bandwidth.

From your wireless computer pls. run speedtest and post the results on your next post.

Mate, what does that have to do with my problem, though? It doesn't. I am well aware of bandwidth. :)

What is you sister doing, IE: Downloading using a Torrent, is so it may be connections that your router can handle and thus disconnecting you.

Also, and this is a little Odd and should not happen. You may be getting the same IP and the router giving her the Main Choice of this and reassigning you.....

Have a lookie at the router and Assign your Own IP's.

How are your computers getting IP addresses assigned? Is your router doing that (DHCP)? Are your computers configured to get IP addresses from the DHCP server (the router)?

Yeah, I think they're configured to get IP addresses from the router.
