Wireless connection doesn't appear

I have a Linksys WRT54G and I know it's configured and should be showing up on my computer, but I can't see the connection. It works with other computers.

Maybe a driver? I don't know where to install it.

What wifi card? 64 bit or 32?




Have you rebooted the router and pc at the same time?

does it do it in safe mode (F8)?

That router WRT-54G often requires either a firmware update or sometimes it works better to use the wrt-dd firmware or the tomato firmware but they are version specific so you need to make sure about which version of WRT-54G you are using before installing the firmware. You can google around for the different firmware's and they are very easy to find for your particular router.

Well it seems this guy had about the same problem as me...

I guess this router isn't compatible with Windows 7 64bit.
So it's time for a new router I guess?
