Wireless connection stops abruptly

Hi,

I did a clean install of windows 7 and now my Netgear WG111T wireless adapter doesn't seem to be working correctly. I am able to connect to my Linksys wrt54g router, but after 5 min it disconnects. I then usually unplug my adapter and plug it in again and the connection will work for another 5 min. I have tried restarting my router, uninstalling my adapter driver and reinstalling. I have also shut off my firewall. Does anyone here know how to fix this problem? Thank you in advance.
