To connect i need the network security key
though i don't know what it is

You will need to contact the network administrator for that key.

I don't want to encourage hacking here, in compliance with the forums rules and basic ethics.

If the network is yours (in your home, what you pay for), you can reset the router by unplugging it for 30 seconds or pressing the small reset button with a paperclip.

   Note

That will likely lose all settings, so don't reset the router unless you need to. Try explaining to the network administrator how that happened!
