Wireless Internet Speed TOO Slow in Win7!

In my Vista Home Premium, my internet speed reached up to 144mbp/s. Now that I have Windows 7, it lurks around 10mbp/s. These speed are way too slow for me, as I spend 90% of my time on the computer online. Anyone know how to fix this? In Vista, when my network was a little slow, all I did was click Diagnose, and then Reset Network Adapter. That did the trick. I'm not sure how to do that within Windows 7. I also got an error when I clicked Diagnose.

could we get some info on your networking setup. nic, router, and maybe an ipconfig (type cmd>ipconfig -all)? you can take a snip of it using the snipping tool (snipping tool in search).

ipconfig:

Router is Linksys Wireless-N WRT160Nv2. It worked perfectly with Vista.

Wireless adapter is a Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN.

I also just checked my network's status again and it's at 117mbp/s.
I'll keep monitoring it. It could have been because updates were installing, or something like that.

On my laptop, I went to the Device Manager and to the Network Adapter. I selected my Wireless controller properties, I then went to Power Management and changed the

[] "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" setting to off (deselected).

My speeds went back to my usual. That's all I did. I'll keep testing, if anything changes I'll repost or edit this post!

p.s. On my other laptop I did the same thing for my Ethernet port (RJ-45/hardwire) as well (running Windows 7 x64).

I have the same problem, I tried this but it did not work for me (I have notebook Sony vaio fw)
