The mouse is a Microsoft wireless laptop, 3000 model. Works great. Great that is, until I hooked up external laptop speakers. They obviously plug into the green jack, but now the wireless mouse just drags s-l-o-w-l-y across screen. Unplug speakers, and mouse works great. Is there a fix for this? It's an Acer Aspire 5532

Its obvious that there is a conflict. Before you do anything make a system restore point. As a rule of thumb if a small problem can become a big one it will.

Reinstall the most up to date drivers for both mouse and sound.
