hi, i just completed a clean install of windows 7. im trying to set up my all in one printer wireless. in the printers set up wizard i can get as far as having to enter the password to connect to the network.

this is where im having problems. my printer is still detecting the network that was set up before i did the clean install, and that network name is not on my network now. i am using all the same hardware.

ive tried every password i had written down from the previous install, which include: user password (computer), password to add other computers to the home group, the security pin for my router, the security key for older programs to add them to the network, and the homegroup password. once again these are all from the previous install, not the new clean install. (i tried these because it was still detecting the name of the old network on the lcd interface on the printer when using set up wizard)

and for the new install i have tried the only passwords that i have been prompted to create during installation and setup thus far. these include: computer user password (for windows login), and the network homegroup password.

i know one of the passwords from the previous install worked, but due to poor organization on my part i do not remember which one it was.

looking through the brother forum, and literature im not finding anything specific to this problem.

any suggestions?
