Heres hoping someone can shed a little light on this for me. I have recently been experiencing a dramatic decrease in my wireless internet performance and am at a loss to know what has happened. I have been using the same router as supplied by virgin ( d-link with the twin aerial) and belkin pci card with external aerial ( allegedly high performance!) everything seemed to be ok but over the last couple of days everything has slowed right down and cutting out altogether even tho three bars of signal are showing. The wifes and daughters laptops, mobile phones have no issues using the same router/network. please any advice would be appreciated.

Hello,

Have you done a recent router's firmware update? Updating your wireless network adapter's driver is also a good idea.

From your wireless computer pls. install and run Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector[/URL].
Click on the 'Show Networks' to display all wireless networks on the xirrus icon on your desktop of if you have one running in a corner. Tap the Printscreen key on your keyboard, open up Paint then choose Edit from the Menu and select Paste, then SAVE it. Upload and attached the file on your next post.
