wireless problem.

hi guys i think that this is a common problem i have been reading on other forums that this is happening my wireless drops out and then i have to restart my laptop or reset my wifi driver via windows i have tried re-installing the driver multiple time and updating it.

and trying almost anything i could think of we have other laptop with windows 7 and it does not happen before when i had vista it used to happen as well.

can someone please help me i am seriously considering installing xp i am open to any surrgestion just help me!

Wireless drops out as in connection to your wireless network drops, Or internet cur, Or both?

my laptop loses connection to the network.

I'm not sure if the ipconfig can help, cos this is a disconnection from the network. Have you tried update the router's firmware?

Did the laptop accept the SSID login without any issue, when it did connect?

it connects fine but sometimes it drops out and windows says there is no connection avalible when there is and i cant update the firmware since it is a bigpond wireless router/modem.

You can't update or you are not allowed to do it?

If your adapter drives are latest and correct, there is no other ways you laptop could have dropped it's connection other than from the broadcasted network. We don't know if updating the firmware would do it, but at least we can get it out of the way as been a probable cause.

You might want to check out the fix described in this thread second post down. Bonjour causes dropped connections also, not just restart connection problems so it might be worth checking out.

Cannot connect to the internet after a restart until uninstalling and reinstalling network adapter. (Following upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista)

i tried that when i right clicked on computer and click managed nothing happened is there another to get in and disable the service?
