I am in the market for a laptop which of course will be wireless. I have a wired router and network. I have a Linksys router model BEFSR41 which has 4 ports on the back to plug in my desktops, two of them are open.
The comcast installation person who is contracted to Comcast told me that this router would send wireless signal and all I had to do was use one of the ports on the back.
How do I do that, if in fact that is correct. What do I need to create a wireless signal to my laptop from this router.
I have Linksys Cable Model also model # REFCMU10.
It looks like the connections on the back of my router are for ethernet.
