I have a HP, with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
AMD Athlon II X4 635 Processor 2.90 GHz

Problem is this.

After computer goes into sleep mode or after a restart, it takes 5 minutes or so to get back connected to my wireless network. The signal bars in the lower right hand corner will be full with the yellow '!' saying its connected to my router, but not the internet. Then after a few minutes the yellow '!' will go away for about 30 seconds, then come back on. I wait another few minutes and the yellow '!' goes away for a final time and I have no further problems with my wireless network.

The problem isn't being too far away from my router, because computers in other rooms running Windows XP connect just fine. My drivers are up to date. I turned off allowing windows to disable the wireless card during power save mode and I have searched many forums looking for help.

Any suggestions to help would be appreciated.

I am having the exact same problem. All drivers up to date. All hardware is good. I have a hunch that it has something to do with the wireless security. Something about using WPA2. I am going to try a different security and see what happends.
