When I go to the internet and want to send a site to a friend by clicking on the File option and then clicking on Email I get a message "wldcore error, try installing dllcore". I have spent two days in trying to solve this problem, anyone that can help I would surely appreciate it. I found the wldcoredll in the C drive and clicked on Properties, seems the dll is attached to Photo Viewer which makes no sense to me. Thank you in advance.

Hello and welcome wizzygirl can you please follow this first
can we have some system specs please as what you have posted gives us not that much to work with and given there are so many manufacturers of components and configurations that do influence what goes on within any given machine and OS.

But if I have it right you want to send a link to a site to your friends?? Why don't you jusy open the site right click on the link (it will highlight) and then copy and go to your email and in the mail Hello Dolly htis is where I go - then right clck and paste.

The friend at the other end then only has to click the link. I might be missing soemthing here and if I got that message I would certainly do these

Well, I feel so stupid. In order to send a photo or news item from a site I always clicked on File and then Email. I never thought about simply right clicking on the photo or news item and then going to my email program and pasting it to a email. I have been working on trying to get the DLL error corrected for 3 days and you solved my problem in just a few minutes. I won't have to try and repair the DLL error in order to email from a site. Thank you so much, I appreciate your solving my problem!

Hey Wizzy look we have all been there done that LOL!! ;)

As one of our Admins says "The only stupid question is the one that doe not get asked";)

The dll thing don't get frightened by that stuff unless you are really happy with working around in your computer it is usually nothing and it it was it would stop your machine.;)

If you are interested try reading though this and the tutorial it will make somethings a little clearer.
Just a little something that will make your machine a little faster and more efficient is this Optimize Windows 7 - Windows 7 Help Forums
It is my bible when installing an OS on my machines and also when I am fixing friends and family machines too.
Now if you go through it slowly you will find lots of tweaks and they are all really thoroughly done by the authour Brink a fellow who is in my mind brilliant and if you need to ask questions he is just the most obliging person around.
The other thing is that you may lose some of the "bling" such as transparency (you don't have to I find it unnecessary) and all the tweaks are reversible.
If you do get stuck just post back in that tutorial and you will get help. Another bonus using this tutorial is that it helps you find your way around your machine and Windows 7!
Just one tip I would say you start with is do this Registry - Backup and Restore - Windows 7 Help Forums do this and it will save you a lot of grief if you are ever doing things in the registry and even if you don't it is a good back up to have if your system ever gets corrupted.

Sometimes the fix is very easy but We go the long way and ran into more issues. WLDCore.dll error is related to Windows Live Mail and Live Messenger. The error is annoying and it won't go sometimes even with re-installing windows. A clean installation of windows is the ultimate fix for this error. But why do the clean installation just for fixing one issue? I had also faced this error and I tried a quite few methods by searching google. Finally, I solved my problem and I recommend you do the same. Remove the WLDCore.dll file from your PC and download it from the trusted site. I had downloaded from here: wldcore.dll DLL Search- DLLDownloads and had no issues and I am sure your problem should fix. Anymore help will be appreciated.
