WLM 2009 + Windows 7

Hi guys, I have a big problem with my Windows Live Messenger 2009 runnin on Windows 7... Every time I press send to send an IM or a contact is sending one to me, MSN freeze/hang for like 10 seconds...

Hello Bellbill Welcome to SF,

What Firewall / Antivirus are you using ?? I suspect that might me causing the trouble. If you have any add the Windown Live to the Firewall exception see whether you have the same problem.

Im using Microsoft Security Essentials + windows Firewall and WLM is already in firewall exceptions...

OK use Digsby or Trillian which will login to the Windows Live Server and retrive your Contact list see whether it freezes while you are messaging if it work fine then i guess you can stick with it.

Alright alright, no need to convert him..

Have you tried uninstalling MSG Plus Live, and seeing if it still hangs?

Dang, I did the Msn Plus repair function (wich removed every script and skin installed) and Msn started working well again :rolleyes: :p
