WLM 2011 opening message problem

I have upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 and my Windows Live Mail 2011 was moved into the new Operating System. My WLM 2011 is functionning properly except for this small problem. After downloading messages, when I try to open THE FIRST MESSAGE ONLY, I receive the following alert message:
"A problem occurred while trying to open this message. A problem has occurred, try again"... And I try again twice or more times, and the message will open, and from there on, also ALL OTHER MESSAGES can be opened.

In other words, the problem occurs just when trying to open the first message of any downloading message batch, as the same problem will occur in several hours time when downloading another messages batch.

Perhaps you did not wait long enough for all the messages to download. Try waiting a few minutes before attempting to read a message after downloading.

What do you use to access your mail, POP or IMAP

My WLM 2011is configurted to receive mail vias POP3. However, there are sometimes, messages sent to me
via IMAP and somehow they are also downloaded and received.
What difference to the problem this will make?

Sending mail is not POP or IMAP it's a different process called SMTP. So you will get them how WLM is set.

Its a windows firewall problem put windows live mail in the exceptions and then click on internet options connections tab click on lan settings uncheck the box automatically detect settings.
