Hi,
I'm a support guy for seniors who have problems with computers/windows.
A "client" has a problem with WLM 2012 after upgrade/roll back to Win10 - W7.
Here the existing pop account can receive mails but no mails are sent via smtp.
Also creation of a new/other e-mail (Gmail or pop) account is not possible.
Reinstallation of WLM 2012 did was not successful.
Installation and configration of Mozilla Thunderbird, everything work very well.
My "client" was satisfied with this solution.
I have a collegue helper, who has a simular problem (W7); no send/reply;
did WLM recovery function, deleted "Mail.MSMessageStore"; uninstalled WLM2012 cleaned up
revo uninstaller also registry; reinstalled WLM2012; but no success.
Thunderbird worked perfect, but his client likes to use WLM.

What can be done to get WLM working again?
Sigi

Hiyya sig mate if I were you I would back up all the data and clean that drive and reinstall 7 this happens so frequently it seems to me 10 to 7 :(

I if you reinstall 7 then make sure the updates are set to let me check them before download and install them and look out for KB3035533 particularly and others.

There is this that will clear 10 files downloaded accidentally Ultimate Outsider: Using GWX Control Panel to Permanently Remove the 'Get Windows 10' Icon got it on all my machines now.
