Solved WLM Won't play slideshow

When i try to play a series of photo's as a slideshow from an
email i get the alert "Can't start slide show there is a problem
with windows live movie maker.Please try again."
Anyone know a fix for this.Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply,i tried doing a repair from programs and features as instructed from your link but the option was'nt there only the option to uninstall.
But it did say there was a problem with one of your programs,so i uninstalled WLM 11 and reinstalled WLM 12 and it's fixed the problem and i can now watch the slideshow without any problem.
