My messages have all been stuck in the Outbox for 4 days with this error message:

An unknown error has occurred.

Subject 'Again...same thing...'
Server Error: 421
Server Response: 421 4.7.0 [C7] Too much spam.
Server: 'smtp.rcn.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC67
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 587
Secure(SSL): No

It is NOT spam at all! These are the same messages I've been sending out with no problem before, to my family and friends. I contacted my server, the RCN, and was told it's a my email client's matter. I went to the WLMail forum and they said it's my server who pub a block...Quite a merry-go-round that's making me dizzy!

In my desperation for a solution, someone suggested to change the Port from 25 to 587 which I did. Should I change it back?

If someone with the same email client ran into this before, would you kindly tell me what to do to release these captive messages of mine please?

Thanks ever so much for any help. :) Adela

Hi and thank you Roadrunner, yes, I did, you can see it in the error message: Port 587. I still have all
my 22 messages in captivity. Can you imagine these servers playing with us as if we were their toys!

But the last line on that error msg says: "Secure(SSL): No"...should it be "Yes" instead? I'm copying it below:
