WMC can see the tuner card (Ceton InfiniTV) but not the CableCard (Com

WMC can see the tuner card (Ceton InfiniTV) but not the CableCard (Comcast). I've been working w/Ceton for a week and have changed out the CableCard with no improvement. I have not only disabled and/or turned off Norton, AdAware and SpyBot but have completely uninstalled them. I have uninstalled and reinstalled WMC. I have cleaned and optimized the registry. To no avail, WMC can see the tuner card (all 4) but does not detect the CableCard. Any ideas??? Frustration is mounting faster every day.

You have to make sure the cable card is firmly seated in the Ceton Card. I had to hold the cable installers hand to get the Celton card to work with Win Media system. Initially the cable card wasn't recognized but the 4 tuners were. We almost had to use deadly force to get the cable card seated correctly in the Celton card. I was almost surprised we didn't destroy the cable card with the force we used.

CmputrGuy, thanks. If mine recognized anything it wouold only see 3 tuners. Changed the CableCard and could see all 4 tuners but WMC couldn't. Ceton sent a replacement card (ordered Friday, rec'd Monday - FAST!). Now WMC sees everything. Have to call Cable company tomorrow to activate. Thanks anyway for the tip, somebody may need it.
