Hello all,
I have been reading for the last hour not only here but on many different websites trying to find a way to NOT display album art in WMP 12.
I have selected the option to no longer download it.
I have deleted all the Art from my music folders.
It still leaves the place marker with the music note. I don't want the place marker with the music note! I don't want an icon at all but, I would still like to display the music in the Icon and Tile format.
I have figured out I can display in "details" view and it gives me what I want to some degree. But If I switch to Icon mode or Tile mode it shows the album art period. So I right click on the Column header and it gives me the "Choose Columns" option. So I select it, then it gives me a list of all the columns and check boxes. GREAT I thought I found it, but sadly Album Art isn't a column when viewing by Artist.
So my question is... Tho only way to not view Album art is in Details view?
I also found that if you actually select an Artist, now in the Column Header it shows a #, Title, Length Rating etc...
If you right click it (the #) you get again the "Choose Columns" option, now ALBUM ART is listed there! BUT, and a big BUT, you can not deselect it! Why is that? I have tried moving it down the list, but that is the one and only column you can't do anything with.
Any suggestions?
Thank you all.
