WMP 12 Problem - song pause near the end

i'm using windows 7 build 7100.

every song I hear from the beginning to end, the song stops for half a second and then continue. it always happen 5-10 seconds to the end.

in previous windows 7 version there was a bug that damage the mp3 file but I don't think that is the case.

the file itself is fine. if I play only the problematic part there's no pause.

in any other player it's working fine.

ideas?

it happens to me "sometimes" when I play a game at fullscreen but seems to be gone with the 7127 or I just didnt experience it again yet

I had that once in vista. right click volume icon in system tray. choose playback devices. choose your device/properties/enhancement tap/check disable enhancements.click OK and play song again. Good luck Best regards DOC

not working for me. still pause near the end.

are you sure that's the right address? helpvista.ca = 404 error and nothing on google about it.

WMP 12 - each MP3 track pauses near end

Did anyone find the cause of this? I installed W7 32bit a week ago and this is happening to me whenever I play an album or a playlist. If I play a single track, or if it is the last track of the album/playlist then the track plays without the 2 second pause. I have a clean install on brand new hardware, however, my music library was copied from my Vista machine. I have been in touch with MS about the problem but so far not much help!!

Any suggestions welcome as I have tried everything I can think of.
