I use iTunes for my primary media manager because I like to get stuff onto my iPhone. So when I have an AVI file of my favorite TV show, I then convert it to mp3 and add to my iTunes library. I look up the various info data for it (title, episode #, etc...) so they all display & organize nice in iTunes.

But, I also share my iTunes folders across my home network for wife & kids. mp3's play fine in Media Player & Media Center.

However, WMP only lists the name of the individual episode: I have no way of knowing what show it's even from, and this also holds true when viewing the shows through PS3 or XBox360 or laptops elsewhere.

WMP allows me to decide what to show in the list. So, I looked up the properties of a show, and it showed the show name under "Artist". But, WMP doesn't have a "Artist" under the View Columns menu.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

These are mp3 files?

Give me a sample of how one of them might be named if you were just looking at it in Windows Explorer? (not in I-tunes, not on an iPhone)

If they are mp3s, they may have tags, just like an mp3 song.

I'm thinking you might be able to use an mp3 tagging application?
