Just found a disk with all my music on it, transferred it over to my PC, only problem is with about half the songs it tries to open Internet explorer, rather than play,

now if i remember rightly, this was something to do with DRM or Licenses, and when this happened on Vista i just had to click an "ok" and it downloaded the relevant licenses and that was that, unfortunately, my Internet is down at the moment, im being diverted to a "broadband service unavailable" page before i can copy the relevant link to download it manually from another PC, i dont suppose, someone has the link to the right page?

  1. Open Media player

If the Player is currently open and you’re in Now Playing mode, click the Switch to Library button in the upper-right corner of the Player.
  2. In the Player Library, click Organize, and then click Options.
  3. Click the Privacy tab.
  4. Uncheck Download usage rights automatically when I play or sync a file.
That should solve your problem
