Solved WMP overwrites file associations?

Hi all-

After a brand new re-install of W7, all of my *.html files open with WMP. I've set, re-set, and re-re-set the file associations and I still continue to resort to using 'Open with...' from the context menu. Any ideas on how I can cure either Firefox or WMP?

Any help is very much appreciated.

Did you download and merge the .ref files for both the .htm and .html options in the tutorial below to restore both of their default associations?
