Hello, i think this is really common problem for K-Lite users that uses windows 7.
I searched internet, but couldnt found a sullution. i have experianced this problem since windows 7 beta, but i was hoping and hoping that creator of k-lite will make preinstalled mp4 codes workd on wmp12.

So this is how it is: WMP12 plays some mp4 video files itself when its out of the box, but it plays not ewerything. since windows xp i am k-lite and wmp lover, so when i installed k-lite in to 7, wmp no longer wants to play mp4, but it does starts play such files as .mkv or .flv

Back in days on windows xp i had newer had problems with wmp11 and k-lite mp4 capability.

anyone know how to solve this?

thanx a lot! after installing sharks007 codecs at first it still dint wanted play mp4, player reresize itself to video, then blinks and shows messege: Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. then i pressed in sharks codecs manu to apply his recomendet settings and wmp plays mp4 files! :D

i hope this guy updates codecs often, cause i was k-lite user and he uses newest codecs all the time for best smooch performance as it can be.

btw, i just got tested HD video, and it works awesome. i guess its good codecs.

the reason y wmp is my favorite player is cause it have best video performance, no other major player like media player classic, vlc, kmplayer, etc can beat wmp in HD video performance, i did tests and i know lol. anyway, i suggest to set wmp in highr priority for cpu in task manager atleast above normal, cause it helps with no lags if video is in hard HD randering. (other players still dont beats wmp ewen if they also in higher priority).
now i just need to find tool that lets remember task manager to not forget pririoritys, i used "prio" in xp, but i dont think its good idea to try install this to 7.
