does anybody know why wmp keeps always adding these mystery play list???
Is a better media player out there??? And why does wmp just quite... is me or is just worthless??

You can also try Winamp,AIMP2,Foobar2000 ...

And my personal Favorite: Zune software, Zune HD players, and the Social | Zune.net

There are lots of good choices out there if you do not like WMP. I wouldn't use iTunes though, unless you have a specific need for it (like a Ipod) but thats just personal opinion.
I find it too heavy and slow compared to the other choices available.


Not sure why you would be getting random playlists though. WMP seemed to OK from my experiences. I just didnt like the way it sorted the library.
It should only create them if you add something to, or create one.
Unless they are being imported or included somehow from another source.

I personally am a huge fan of XBMC. Xbox media player. It was originally designed for the xbox but now they have done updates that let it function as a fantastic HD Windows media interface. If you collect movies on your HD then XBMC is worth checking out> Go to their website and you can read a little more about it. I am not affiliated with them just a big fan!

I'm a ps3 user ..unfortunatly... but does it work with that... homegroup blah blah.. And yes collecting movies and music is all i really like doing....

You don't need a xbox to use xbmc. It is a windows application! I also am a ps3 owner. @#$! xbox. lol. I use Xbmc on all my pcs and set file path from file share network path. Then all my movies are on each pc and I get to use my fav media player.

The movie collecting is addictive! For sure I am over 325 now! Most HD but some of the older ones are 420 rips from my dvd collection.

well thanx 4 the imput i mite have to try it ... i asume zune will start to piss mee off soon...Also I am a pc morron i was wondering about how to set a path to share is it easy?? Or am i going to need some kind of masters in computing???

If you know how to share files you will be able to set it up. It really is easy. Check tho forms if you get stuck on file sharing. Lots of good info.
