Won't save my default output device.

Every time I reboot, Windows 7 reverts to using my headphones (on a USB driver) as the default sound output device. And after every reboot, I have to go into sound devices and change it back to my speakers as the output device.

Is there some way to tell Win7 once and for all my speakers are default out?
