Won't save preferences

I am losing my mind. This thing changes my home page and all my settings (width of scroll bar, etc.) all on it's own. Sleep also apparently means shut down to this machine. This is my system.

Any ideas would be appreciated. I got past the not saving passwords by using roboform, but now I'm stumped again. Really, microsoft should be ashamed of this crap, having to go to 3rd parties for functions that should be inherent in the browser.

Live mail sucks too, every day it can't find my accounts.

Good chance of a virus or malware
Run a full antivirus scan
Download and make a full scan with malwarebytes. Be sure to update before the scan.
Iwould not hestiate and do it now. If postive post the results here.

Nothing. I have Kaspersky and it's been pretty good protection.

Oh well, I will just live with the blank home page and random setting changes. :shock:
