Word Doc Recovery

Lost house power and PC crashed. Had a word 2007 doc with important stuff pasted to it. It was an untitled never saved page at the time.

Any chance of finding it???

Not much of a chance.
If you were lucky and selected (Save) before the power went off it might be hiding.


If not, the old saying if it's not saved when the computer shuts down, for what ever reason, you have lost your new work.

That is the reason some people have battery backup power. It gives them a chance to save their work and shut down the computer in a normal fashion.

AaLF, this MS website might help you recover the document. If you had "Always create backup copy" selected the the chances are better.
