Working firewall for me

Hi everyone, I am from sweden and running windows 7, version 6.1.6801 Build 6801 and have been running into problems to find a working firewall for this OS. And so yesterday i read aboute the MCS Firewall and gave it a try. Finally I have a firerwall that iant giving me a "bluescreen", have testet "Esset", "Agnitum" and "kaspersky" which all gave me problems untill now. So here everyone- u can use "MCS Firewall 2008 v.7.5"if u ....just as me not sitting behind a router with firewall.
If anyone have some good information to give so please....let me know.

Ps-sorry for my english, speaking swedish here normaly

Hello winsys, welcome to Se7en Forums! (though belatedly)

Quite alot of us here are using Comodo Firewall Pro in Windows 7; you just have to install it in Compatibility Mode for Vista. Once you start the installer you'll get an option to choose just the firewall and not the whole security suite.

umm im not trusting comodo as i cannot see any connections in the connections window...
it only shows listening ports....
when i can see any info from comodo then i will give it go
(i have comodo installed on several other machines that i have serviced and on my own....)
just my opinion...
i use the builtin 7 firewall with vista firewall control...
it works in conjuction with 7's firewall...

Same thing here, cant get a firewall to work, and i've tried Norton, Agnitum Outpost, Comodo, McAfee, Zone Alarm Pro, blah blah. compat bare foot? i'll try that. Update, it installed. Long as it lets me send thru irc i'll be happy, ;)~ J

PC Tools is my choice for a great 7-64 firewall, waited forever and a day for that tall emu to get on the stick and develop one. Then while they didn't PC Tool came in and knocked them off the top shelf and into 3rd place. No forever to to commode as they support malware with the certs program so I could never trust them again
