Hello,

For the past few days World of Warcraft (WoW) has been freezing either at the end of the loading screen or around 1 minute after logging in, if I manage to log in and not crash I can most likely play just fine until the next time I log in or change characters. This started a few days ago but before that it was fine when I first installed Windows 7.

So far I've tried updating all drivers, including trying beta drivers, deleted my cache, wtf and interface folders, playing with no addons, running as administrator, disabling sound in-game. This is the first time I've ever had a problem with WoW or any game frankly, I'm good with computers so my PC isn't filled with crap.

You can find my dxdiag here: DxDiag.txt

Open to any and all suggestions right now, this has got me stumped.

You try asking Blizzard Techies what's up?

I've tried, had no response though, they're about as useful as a cock flavoured lollipop. They just won't accept any blame as they aren't officially supporting Windows 7 yet.

Where is your WoW folder located? I had this same problem and I moved the WOW folder from where it originally saved to Program Files (x86) and it worked fine.

It's saved to public users. Did you just drop and drag the whole folder or did you need to reinstall?

I didn't have to reinstall. I just moved the entire WoW folder to Program (x86) . Just make sure that if you had a shortcut before you create a new shortcut since you moved your WoW folder.

I thought I'd let you know I finally fixed my problem. There was an optional Windows update for my network card, I was reluctant to install this as the previous version caused lots of problems for many people, it's funny that being desperate fixed it.
