I'm using the 64 bit, build 7100 version. WoW seems to run well, however i cant seem to get it to load any of my addons (new or old).

I've tried running WoW from my installation from my old drive. I even made a new partition mounted to a folder in my C:\users\public\games folder (i read somewhere that WoW may need to be in that folder, but i didnt alot enough space in this partition to do that and i can't expand it w/o reinstalling)

Does anyone have any info reguarding WoW Addons?
Thanks!

You should be able to run Wow from your old drive.
Is the directory structure intact? \World of Warcaraft\Interface\Addons
Is there a \World of Warcraft\WTF folder?
Turn off User Account Control.

Ah! Disabling UAC worked! Now my addons show up, thank you!

Is this "feature" worth it to have enabled?

UAC is the always the first feature I turn off.
Is it worth having enabled is debateable. I hate it.

Use this to detect changes instead. It is free.

I had the same problem, but then I made a D:\Users\Public\Games folder, moved the World of Warcraft folder there, and gave Full Control permissions to "Everyone" in Users and all subfolders of it. All of my addons loaded fine after that.

Go into Control Panel and Click on User Accounts, then above in the search box type in UAC and it will show Change User Account Control Settings, click on that then push that little bar all the way down to never notify so that annoying popup goes away! :)
