[SOLVED]WoW - Unable to start 3D aceleration!

When I start WoW I get this error:

[I]World of Warcraft was unable to start[/I] up [I]3D acceleration[/I]. Please make sure DirectX 9.0c is installed and your video drivers are up to date.

WoW worked FINE before I installed W7, could anyone provide a solution please?

Specs:

Windows 7 Pro 32Bit
1GB Ram
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHZ
Graphics card (or something of the like?) Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
Got Directx.

Solution: Updated my drivers.

Did you recently update your video driver?
You need to also install the chipset drivers for your motherboard else you'll be unable to obtain hardware accelerated 3D in most cases.

yes, click Start button and in the Start Search box, type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
now in device manager, expand system devices and you'll see the name like Intel or asus.

Installed, just wondering if I need to restart since its still erroring me

Damnit! I'm still getting errors, what I'd like to know is how it was running then, and not now?!

can you try doing a system restore to a date when the game was working fine?
Click Start>Search>system restore>select a restore point when the game was working.

The game worked when I was running XP :/

Try downloading and installing DirectX 9. I know Win 7 comes with DX 11 but several games that I run still require DX 9 files. Once I install it everything runs fine.
